None of these were feasible until political climate after Doomsday entirely destroyed Europe and Italy as a whole, allowing for old sentiments of Roman glory to return and this time thrive in the new landscape. There were many attempts over the centuries to reestablish the Roman Empire or some form of Roman Government, generally out of Italy with the most notable example being Benito Mussolini's attempts during the Second World War. Over the decades since it's creation it rapidly grew in size attempting to reclaim historic Roman lands. Like the old Empire the New Roman Empire was heavily militaristic and entered into states of conflict with nearly all of it's neighbors for the conquest of land including France, Croatia, The United States of America, Egypt and Spain. Nations like the United Kingdom and France welcomed the return of the Empire but Nations like the United States and Turkey showed great concern for it's revival. The Empire's existence has sparked a wide range of reaction from the international community since it's formation, in the beginning years most had no knowledge of it's existence as contact between Continents or even Nations was nearly impossible. The New Roman Empire followed much of the same Government Structure and style as the Old Roman Empire. It's predecessor State is the Italian Republic but by Government Law it's only successor State is recognized to be the Eastern Roman Empire which had ceased to be a unified entity in 1453 AD. On Aphe crowned himself Emperor with Pope Julian II present. The Empire was founded by Severus Hersey who lived in Rome at the time of doomsday and seized control of the City. It structured itself as the direct successor State of the Roman Empire. Starting off with only parts of the City of Rome it rapidly grew to encompass all of Rome by June 2112. The New Roman Empire (Latin: Novum Imperium Romanum) is the reformed Roman State established one year after doomsday in the wake of the collapse of the Italian Government out of Rome.
